What is a Form 5?

Creditors can collect their dividends

A Form 5 notice tells creditors of a bankrupt estate that they can now collect their share (called a "dividend") of whatever was recovered. It can also be used to call in contributions from members of an insolvent close corporation if the estate is short. This is usually the closing step in the bankruptcy process.
