That's enough for the typical visitor — a one-off VIN check on a used car, looking up a deceased relative's estate notice, or a single conveyancing search.

Paid — R299 / month

For people who use the site daily — heir-hunters, debt collectors, AML compliance officers, conveyancers, insolvency attorneys — there's a paid tier with no rate limit.

It's a manual setup, deliberately simple:

1. Email graham@phasetransitions.ai to ask.
2. You'll get an invoice and a private URL with a token.
3. Open the URL once. It sets a cookie. From then on, no rate limit on that browser.

No accounts, no passwords, no recurring billing platform. Pay by EFT once a month; the URL keeps working.

Why this shape

We built GazetteSearch as a public-records utility, not a subscription product. The free tier exists because most people who land here just need one answer. The paid tier exists for the small number of people whose work is searching this corpus all day, every day. Email if that's you.
