What is a J295?
Court appoints a curator
When a person can't manage their own affairs — usually because of mental illness or impaired capacity — the High Court can appoint a curator to look after their property and personal interests. The appointment is published as a J295 notice, which names the patient, the curator, and the court order making the appointment.
