KINDLY TAKE NOTE that on the 17th day of March 2022, the above-named Respondent, was placed into Provisional
Liquidation by the Master of the abovementioned Honourable Court in the following terms:
1. That on the 13th day of July 2022, The Respondent or any other interested party may attend court to show cause,
before the above Honourable Court, as to why the Respondent should not be finally wound up.
2. Consequent upon the relief sough in paragraph 1 above, that the Master of the abovementioned Honourable Court
has been directed and authorised to take such steps to appoint a provisional liquidator in respect of the winding-up of
the Respondent.
TAKE NOTE FURTHER that on the 13th day of July 2022 should no cause be shown as set out above, an order in the
following terms will be sought:

held in safe custody by the South African Police Service under SAPS criminal case docket reference number:

                    Notice in terms of section 39 of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act 121 of 1998
This notice is addressed to Parpia Gold and Jewels Trading LLC (Parpia LLC), the Government of Madagascar, Zava
Herimanana Anjaranantenaina (Anjaranantenaina), Xxx Mahamodo (Mahamodo), Francis Deliot Regasy (Regasy) and
all other persons who may have an interest in property, all unwrought gold bars and cash seized at OR Tambo
International Airport on 31 December 2020 and held in safe custody by the South African Police Service (SAPS) under
SAPS criminal case docket reference number: ORTIA CAS 146/12/2020 and SAP13 reference number:
SAP13A/843/2020 (the property).
Take notice that:
1. The National Director of Public Prosecutions (National Director) has obtained a preservation of property order (the
preservation order) in respect of the property, in terms of section 38(2) of the POCA, a copy of which is obtainable from
the State Attorney's office in Johannesburg.

2. If you have an interest in the property, you should understand that it is now at risk. You are advised to obtain legal
advice on whether your interest can be protected and, if so, on how to protect it.
3. You are notified that the National Director will, within 90 days of publication of this notice, apply to the High Court
under section 48 of the POCA for a forfeiture order. The preservation order will remain in force until the application for
a forfeiture order is finalised, and until any forfeiture order that is made is satisfied.
4. If you intend to oppose the application for a forfeiture order, or you intend to apply for an order excluding your interest
from a forfeiture order in respect of the property, you must enter an appearance in terms of the order. The requirements
for such an appearance are set out in the order and are also dealt with in sections 39(3), (4) and (5) of the POCA. An
appearance must comply with these requirements.
5. Your attention is specifically drawn to the 14-day time limit prescribed in section 39(4) for the entry of an appearance
referred to in paragraph 4 above.
6. If you enter an appearance in terms of the order you will be entitled to be given 14 days notice of the application by
the applicant for a forfeiture order in respect of the property.
