IN APPLICATION OF: SOUTH ATLANTIC MEAT IMPORT AND EXPORT (PTY) LTD (Applicant) (Registration
number: 1999/01684207), Registered address and principal place of business: Suite 141, the Quays, Park Lane,
Century City, Cape Town, Western Cape.
 In re: An application for placing the applicant under provisional liquidation in the hands of the Master of the
                                                         High Court.
                                                           ORDER
          After having read the papers filed of record and having heard counsel for the applicant, an order is granted in
the following terms:
          1. The applicant is placed under provisional liquidation in the hands of the Master of the High Court.
          2. That a rule nisi is issued calling upon all interest persons to appear and show good cause on 16 January
2024, why:
          2.1. the applicant should not be placed under a final order of winding up;
          2.2. the costs of this application, should not be costs in the winding up of the applicant on an attorney and
client scale; and
          2.3 further and / or alternative relief should not be granted to the applicant.
          3. A copy of this order of provisional liquidation is to be:
             3.1 served by the Sheriff of this Honourable Court:
                  3.1.1. upon the applicant at its registered address and principal place of business;
                  3.1.2. upon the applicant's employees, if any, and on any trade union representing such employees
at
                         the applicant's registered address and principal place of business;
                  3.1.3 upon the South African Revenue Services, Cape Town.
            3.2 published in one publication of each of 'Die Burger' and 'The Cape Times' newspapers.
            3.3 emailed to all known creditors with claims exceeding R 5000,00.
           4. The Registrar shall transmit copy of the winding-up order to the Sheriff of the province in which the
registered office of the Company is situate and to the Sheriff of every province in which it appears that the Company
owns business.
          5. The Sheriff shall attach all property which appears to belong to the Company and transmit to the Master
an inventory of all property attached by him or her in terms of section 19 of the Insolvency Act 24 of 1936.

          The National Director of Public Prosecutions applied for and was granted a preservation of property order in
terms of section 38 of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act, 1998 in the High Court of South Africa (Western Cape

Local Division, Cape Town) on 23 September 2023 under case number 19759/2023 in relation to two motor vehicles
to wit a Volkswagen Jetta motor vehicle with registration number CA230 983 and a Jaguar FX motor vehicle with
registration number FB 50 WG GP that was seized by members of the South African Police Service on 16 April 2023.
