      IN AN APPLICATION FOR A PRESERVATION ORDER IN TERMS OF SECTION 38(1) OF THE
                     PREVENTION OF ORGANISED CRIME ACT 121 OF 1998
  NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 39 OF THE PREVENTION OF ORGANISED CRIME ACT 121 OF 1998
(POCA)
   The National Director of Public Prosecutions applied for and was granted a preservation of property order in
terms of section 38 of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act, No. 121 of 1998 in the High Court of South Africa
(North West Division, Mahikeng) on 07 AUGUST 2025 in case number 2840/2025 in relation to:
  1. A White Hyundai Accent 2000 1.6 Light passenger vehicle with register number RVL725W, License
number HXM 348 NW, Chassis number KMHCT41DLCU352120 and Engine number G4FCCU977675 seized on
14 May 2025 and held at Phokeng Police Station under Phokeng CAS number 128/05/2025 and
SAP13/353/2025.
  2. A blue Volkswagen VW27X-Polo Light passenger vehicle with register number JNY611K, License number
KWS 695 NW, Chassis number AAVZZAWZNU070074 and Engine number DXT008572 seized on 14 May 2025
and held at Phokeng Police Station under Phokeng CAS number 128/05/2025 and SAP13/354/2025
  3. A silver-grey Suzuki Swift Dzire 1.2 GL vehicle with register number DNW 109X, License number KZH 972
NW, Chassis number MBHCZC63S00987534 and Engine number K12MP1399404 seized on 14 May 2025 and
held at Brits Police Station under Phokeng CAS number 128/05/2025 and SAP13/355/2025.
  4. A White Citi Golf Chico 1.6i vehicle with register number JHZ2028S, License number LW 25TM GP,
Chassis number AAVZZZ17Z7U006262 and Engine number AFX081960 seized on 14 May 2025 and held at
Phokeng Police Station under Phokeng CAS number 128/05/2025 and SAP13/356/2025.
  5. A Green Honda Ballade Light passenger vehicle with register number RMP460A, License number BFZ 877
NW, Chassis number AHMBCD3421E114420 and Engine number EW21056916 seized on 14 May 2025 and
held at Phokeng Pollice Station under Phokeng CAS number 128/05/2025 and SAP13/357/2025.
  6. A White Mazda Drifter B2500 Vehicle with register number JZV025L, License number FRF291NW, Chassis
number AFAEXXMJ2E6U05435 and Engine number WLAT683295 seized on 14 May 2025 and held at Phokeng
Police Station under Phokeng CAS number 128/05/2025 and SAP13/358/2025.
  7. A White Renault Clio 1.2 Authentique vehicle with register number JZV025L, License number HXG 257
NW, Chassis number VF1BB0S0F23487962 and Engine number DC49800 seized on 14 May 2025 and held at
Phokeng Police Station under Phokeng CAS number 128/05/2025 SAP13/359/2025. (a copy of the application
and order can be obtained from the person mentioned in par 9 hereunder).
  This notice is addressed to Thabo Obakeng residing at Rammopo Road, Kgale Section, Phokeng. Absa Bank
Beperk at Ground floor, Cnr B Naude & Nelson Mandela Drive, Rustenburg. Dineo Makgatlha residing at 42B
Lenatong Section. Phokeng, Rustenburg. Tsoagong B who resides at Plot 10, Tarlton, Krugersdorp, Kraai W.M
who resides at House no.752 Koster Section Madikwe Town, Mthembu who resides at House no. 19511
Boitekong, Ext 8, Rustenburg and any other persons who may have an interest in the property described above.
  Take notice that:
  1. If you have an interest in the property, you should understand that it is now at risk. You are advised to
obtain legal advice on whether your interest can be protected and, if so, on how to protect it.
  2. You are notified that the National Director will, within 90 days of publication of this notice, apply to the High
Court under section 48 of the POCA for a forfeiture order. The preservation order will remain in force until the
application for a forfeiture order is finalised, and until any forfeiture order that is made is satisfied.
   3. If you intend to oppose the application for a forfeiture order, or you intend to apply for an order excluding
your interest from a forfeiture order in respect of the property, you must enter an appearance in terms of the

order. The requirements for such an appearance are set out in the order and are also dealt with in sections 39(3),
